Save Trestles! – California Coastal Commission Meeting Rescheduled
I don’t why or what happened, but the T.C.A. decided that October 11th was not the right time to present their case in front of the Coastal Commission. The hearing has been rescheduled for sometime in early 2008, from what Surfrider told us on the phone.
Thanks to the Surfrider Foundation, Sierra Club, Friends of the Foothills and all of the other organizations and individual supporters, the T.C.A. has stalled momentarily. We see this as a great time to spread the word even more…Grab a Save Trestles stencil and paint a trash can!

The California Coastal Commission Meeting Oct 11th Has Been Resceduled!!!!!!
Please Come to the California Coastal Commission Meeting Oct 11 in San Pedro, California
The most important public hearing to Save Trestles will take place on Thursday October 11 in San Pedro (near LA) when the California Coastal Commission hears an application for the toll road through San Onofre State Park.

This IS NOT the time to be laissez-faire about the toll road issue. If we do not show our support at the Coastal Commission hearing, they will grant the T.C.A. approval to proceed.
